Coronation Street fans think they've worked out just what George is up to as he has again let Eileen down.
While Eileen had grand plans for dinner and spending the night together, even telling Mary to make herself scarce, George rejected her offer. Eileen later told Mary George swerved her plans in favour of his cat.
A shifty-looking George appears to be hiding something, and while some viewers initially thought he may have been married, a number of them have now changed their minds. Some now think he may be related to an iconic cobbles villain.

Eileen has not been lucky in love. Her serial killer ex Pat Phelan murdered a number of Weatherfield residents and tried to come after Eileen herself.
Soap fans are now convinced George is related to Phelan. Both even have Scouse accents.
Taking to Twitter, Tavern Hoyden said: "I've got a funny Phelan about George...". notakaren_1 said: "George is Pat Phelan's brother isn't he #Corrie", while Ian W said: "George Phelan?".
Episodes that aired last year revealed George even had Pat Phelan's ashes. The explanation went that because nobody claimed them George, as an undertaker, had to hold on to them for five years. But could there be more to the story than he's letting on?
