Coronation Street fans spotted a problem during Friday evening's episode as Paul Foreman nipped into Roy's Rolls.
As viewers will know, Paul has recently received a heartbreaking diagnosis as he found out he is likely suffering from onset motor neurone disease. As he is unable to work, Paul is broke.
Friday's trip to the cobbles saw him asking Nick Tillsley for work, before he came up with the idea to approach Damon Hay.

But all this came after he bumped into Carla Connor in the café. Carla had returned to the street to offer support to Ryan Connor as he begins his long recovery following the acid attack.
Carla and Paul agreed to put the past behind them, after Paul had sought compensation following Carla knocking him down in the Underworld van. Paul was unable to shake her hand due to his symptoms, so threw his arms around her in a hug instead.
But viewers could not work out what Paul was doing in the café in the first place. Taking to Twitter, Roz said: "Paul is in terrible debt. So how does he decide to spend the money he doesn't have? On coffee from Roy's, when he's 50ft from his own kettle."
Ian said: "Paul heavily in debt crosses the street from his flat to go to Roy's café to buy a coffee...", while Anne said: "Why’s Paul buying coffee if he’s skint? Surely the vicar has supplies."
