Coronation Street fans question whereabouts of 'invisible' character as triple exit teased

Coronation Street fans have been left questioning the whereabouts of a character they described as 'invisibly' just as a triple exit was teased. Fans of the ITV soap tuned in to watch the latest goings on in Weatherfield on Wednesday night (June 21) which saw Ryan Connor confront Daisy Midgeley.

The pair have been growing even closer in recent months due to their shared trauma following the horrifying acid attack. Daisy was the intended victim of the heinous crime carried out by her stalker Justin Rutherford on her wedding day. However, unaware of what he was about to do, Ryan stepped in and bared the brunt of the attack leaving him with life-changing injuries.

Following the conclusion of the trial earlier this month, which saw Justin found guilty despite him trying to twist the truth and lie his way out of being sentenced, Daisy and Ryan kissed.

Then, during Monday's night's trip to the cobbles, Daisy was encouraged to pay Ryan a visit by her fiancee Daniel Osbourne. After hearing from Carla that Ryan is struggling, Daniel called at the flat and asked him why he has been refusing to see Daisy when they were such good friends, with the teacher completely unaware his fiancee shared a kiss with her pal.

Thinking on his feet, Ryan told Daniel he has been in a dark place since he found out the truth about Crystal. Knowing the truth about the catfishing scandal, as it was Daisy behind the text messages, Daniel went back home and urged a guilty Daisy to pay Ryan a visit. After some encouragement from Daniel, and feeling sorry for an isolated Ryan, Daisy headed to visit him and the pair watched TV together. But before long, Daisy and Ryan started opening up about their feelings.

While Daisy apologised for kissing Ryan when he was vulnerable, Ryan admitted that he missed her and wanted to kiss her again and it wasn't long before they were locking lips but were interrupted when Carla returned home and the jittery pair claimed they had just been watching TV.

But during the second episode of Corrie this week, viewers saw Ryan confront Daisy after he heard from Max that he'd heard Ryan's desperate message as he unknowingly battled sepsis after his initial release from the hospital, on Daisy's spare phone.

In Carla's flat, Ryan branded Daisy a "liar" and said he never wanted to see her again, before leaving the flat to go and tell Daniel the truth about their two kisses. But once in the Rovers, a drunk Ryan backed out of telling the truth when Daniel made reference to his son Bertie and announced to the rest of the pub that Daisy had been catfishing him.

Later, during another meeting in the flat, Ryan told Daisy he didn't want to break up a family, but he left Daisy rattled when he suggested she had feelings for him after all. But she denied his claims and left the flat before heading home and telling Daniel that she wants them to move into their own place.

"I want us to be a family" she told Daniel. While he agreed, he added: "We might have to wait for something a bit more local." But Daisy suggested: "Or, we could move further out. Didsbury maybe," after spotting an ideal property that had already been snapped up and taken off the market.

It didn't take Daniel long to mull it over as he quickly agreed to the move, telling his fiancee: "I think it's a great idea, a little adventure just the three of us." When asked if she needed help, Daisy told Daniel she "had it covered" before she was seen deleting Ryan's number.

And while many Corrie fans suggested Daisy was planning the move to try hide her feelings for Ryan, others were distracted by the mention of Daniel's son Bertie, who he shared with his late wife Sinead Tinker.

@StuartYoung001 tweeted: "Where is Bertie at this time. We know its well gone 6pm. #corrie." @Greg_Phillips_ said: "Me, you and Bertie, we need a place of our own….says Daisy. Shouldn’t worry too much about Bertie, he spends his entire life with the child minder, poor kid. #Corrie."

@penniless_poet echoed: "Me. you and Bertie need a place of our own - specially as Social Services are going to start asking questions why we keep locking Bertie in the cupboard #Corrie." @Boppity_Boo34 added: "We never see Bertie #Corrie."
