Coronation Street viewers have predicted that Toyah Battersby could end up getting deadly revenge on her new husband Imran Habeeb.
Tuesday's instalment of the ITV soap saw Imran (Charlie De Melo) come clean to Kevin Webster about setting Abi (Sally Carman) up and making it look like she was still using drugs.
After realising that Abi was preparing to flee the UK with their baby son Alfie, Imran told Toyah but begged her not to go to the police.
Toyah (Georgia Taylor) was understandably confused about why Imran didn't want to involve the authorities - and confided in her cousin Leanne Battersby.
"He thinks that we've destroyed Abi enough," Toyah told Leanne and Adam Barlow.
"It just doesn't make any sense, all along he's the one that's been pushing for this, for us to get custody. I swear if he's been lying to me again, I'm gonna kill him," Toyah added.
She then asked Leanne to watch Alfie while she headed to the police statement to tell them about Abi's plan.
Imran panicked when he realised where she was going and jumped in his car to and stop her, but left her a heartfelt voicemail before driving off.
"Look, you don't know the whole story, there are things about me that you don't understand," he was heard saying.
"But everything I did, I did for you, I did for us. For the life that we always dreamt of, but I did it wrong. I did it so wrong, I've ruined everything.
"The mistakes and lies, they catch up to you eventually, I mean I should know that shouldn't I? I defend those who have learnt that first hand.
"I never thought it would be me in the dock. I never meant for any of this to happen, I am sorry, I am so sorry," he continued.
When he arrived at the police station, he managed to convince Toyah not to talk to them and asked her to go home with him so that they could have a chat about Abi.
Toyah insisted on driving as Imran admitted to having had one drink, but moments later the couple were seen sitting in the car unconscious after being involved in a crash.
Corrie viewers immediately began to speculate about the accident, with one person tweeting: "Imran might as well have worn a big neon sign saying 'DEAD MAN WALKING' #Corrie."
Another guessed: "Toyah crashed her car and is in a bad way #corrie #coronationstreet."
A third person tweeted: "#Corrie Toyah going to load her shotgun," and a fourth added: "#corrie oh fk off ? Don't tell me this is how imran dies before he's even told the truth ..? He better not die until AFTER HIS CONFESSION."
Coronation Street airs at 7.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub every evening this week.
