Coronation Street fans predict Imran will die as Abi is grilled by police in flash forward

Coronation Street fans have predicted that Imran Habeeb will die this week after tuning into Monday night's episode.

The latest instalment of the ITV soap began with a dramatic flash forward scene which saw Abi and Kevin Webster being grilled by police.

At the same time, Imran was heard speaking as he spoke to someone on the phone whilst sitting in his car.

"Look, you don't know the whole story, there are things about me that you don't understand," he was heard saying.

"But everything I did, I did for you, I did for us. For the life that we always dreamt of, but I did it wrong. I did it so wrong, I've ruined everything.

"The mistakes and lies, they catch up to you eventually, I mean I should know that shouldn't I? I defend those who have learnt that first hand.

"I never thought it would be me in the dock. I never meant for any of this to happen, I am sorry, I am so sorry," he continued.

Another flash forward scene saw Leanne Battersby taking a phone call and looking shocked as Nick Tilsley held baby Alfie.

Corrie fans immediately predicted that Imran will be killed off this week, and took to Twitter to comment.

"SPOILER ALERT Oh Imran is so dead, isn’t he. I genuinely be so surprised if he isn’t #corrie (sic)," one said.

Another posted: "Imran's demise. We move!!!! #corrie," while another said: "Bet they kill imran off #Corrie."

Someone else joked: "I assume Imran is murdered before the end of the week for forgetting it was Toyah’s 40th birthday on Saturday… @itvcorrie #corrie #coronationstreet."

Over the weekend, ITV released a tense preview clip ahead of this huge week on the soap, with Imran and wife Toyah seen trapped in a dangerous car wreck.

Toyah remains unconscious, as a trapped and injured Imran desperately calls for an ambulance and asks for help.

As he looks up at the structure, bricks and metal poles begin to rain down on the crashed car as the two remain trapped inside.

Imran pleads for help as he reveals they have to get out sooner rather than later, as the whole structure above is about to collapse.

But will the couple be okay, and can Imran get himself and Toyah to safety in time?
