Coronation Street fans left confused after "missing" ending

ITV soap Coronation Street has left many viewers confused about the ending of the episode. As part of Imran's, played by Charlie de Melo, and Toyah's, played by Georgia Taylor, storyline the soap had been teasing a dramatic car crash. However, when airing the episode with the anticipated crash the show did not show any scenes of the crash. It is understood the show will air scenes of the crash in later Coronation Street episodes.

There was no big stunt, CGI, or any showing of the crash leaving viewers very confused. Many fans went on Twitter to air their frustrations. One said: "They probably didn't record it or couldn't be bothered to retake the scene" followed by a laughing emoji.

Another added: "Weird ending. Did they cut a bit?" and: "Not watched Coronation Street in weeks due to the awful storylines but what on earth was that ending????? Like why????"

A fourth added: "No crash scene? They must have fudged the filming on the first go and couldn't afford another go" followed by a laughing emoji. Someone else said: "Erm. What? Did we miss something there?" and another added: "Coronation Street is doing my swede in."

Recently the soap has also faced scheduling changes due to the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals and has a new character joining the show. Simon O'Brien will be joining Coronation Street as newcomer Frank Bardsley.
