Coronation Street fans have been questioning if Imran Habeeb actually is the biological father of baby Alfie.
Friday's episode of the ITV soap saw Abi Webster break down as she visited her baby boy in hospital and was told he would be going home with Imran that day.
Earlier on in the week, Imran won a custody hearing which meant he and his new wife Toyah Battersby would be looking after Alfie full time for now.
As she cuddled her a baby boy in the hospital room, Abi suddenly decided that she wasn't going to let him go but just as she went to leave, Toyah entered the room and confronted her.
She begged Abi not to try and leave as she didn't want it to ruin her chances of seeing Alfie in the future, and just as she placed him back in his crib, Imran entered.
Realising what Abi was up to, Imran lost his cool and the pair began shouting at one another as Toyah tried to settle Alfie.
Viewers found the scenes heartbreaking to watch and were fuming with Toyah for how she was speaking to Abi about her own child.
But they were also questioning whether or not Imran really is the father following his one-night-stand with Abi last year.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "I’m no fan of Abi’s chaotic life but please let that baby be Kevin’s. #corrie."
Another viewer questioned: "Has it been proved who the father is by dna. ? #corrie."
A third addd: "Have they done a DNA test on that baby? I'd love it if he was Kevin's #Corrie."
And a fourth person tweeted: "Have they even done a DNA test on Alfie? How do they know he’s not Kevin’s? #corrie."
Someone else fumed: "Ohh why can’t #Alfie be #Kevins #Imran doesn’t deserve to be a dad the way he’s been to #Abi & #Toyah is only staying with him coz she knows it’s her only chance to have a baby @itvcorrie #Corrie."
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
