Stunned Coronation Street fans had to read Tina O’Brien's social media birthday announcement twice as she revealed her real age.
The Cobbles beauty - playing savvy businesswoman Sarah Platt on the ITV show since she was a teen - left most of her 500,000 followers gobsmacked.
Telling them she is months away from turning 40, some simply refused to believe it.
Plenty of course will still remember the shocking storyline when the troubled tearaway fell pregnant with Bethany just after her 13th birthday in February 2000.
Well, they are both all grown up now - and the actress had some news lots of people struggled to get their heads around.
"I'm turning 40 this year," she on Instagram alongside some age-defying photos.
"Decided it's time to update my seriously outdated headshots for Spotlight.
"A massive thank you to @neilson_photo_actors I’m absolutely over the moon with them.
"I was quite nervous going to the shoot, it’s been quite a time since I’ve done anything like this.
"Colin is such a lovely, warm, chatty guy. He put me at ease the second I met him, genuinely feel like I’ve known him for years!!
"This isn’t an advert I’m just super pleased. Thank you so much Colin you really understand what an actor is looking for in their headshot and I think your lighting is heaven."
Leanne Battersby actress Jane Danson replied revealing her age.
She said: "Absolutely gorgeous T. Maybe it's time I did mine! I'm 45 this year and mine are a 23-year-old me in black and white."
Her former Coronation Street colleague Catherine Tyldesley joked: "Babe!!! 40?!?! You still look 13!!! gorgeous xxxxx."
Brooke Vincent, Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, told her: "Still look 21."
Fans were quick to comment too.
One told her: "Omg 40 you look 25 !!! Seriously" while another said: "You look incredible!"
Tina landed her role on the soap at the age of 16 when she took over the part from Lynsay King back in 1999.
Nearly 25 years on from stepping foot on the show, life couldn't be better.
She is now happily married to personal trainer Adam Crofts, and the pair have a baby boy called Beau.
Tina co-parents their 13-year-old daughter Scarlett with former Corrie star Ryan Thomas.
The actor also has two other children with fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh.
