Coronation Street fans were left confused as Sarah Barlow didn't to recognise Damon Hays.
Fans were scratching their heads during Monday's show (March 20) as Sarah and Damon appeared to meet for the first time. As the chemistry between them heightened, it seemed like Sarah and Damon were about to embark on a steamy affair.
But given the fact that Damon was working alongside Sarah's brother, Nick, and her husband, Adam, has been helping him with his case, fans were baffled that Sarah had no idea who he was, DailyStar reports.

Jumping onto Twitter, viewers shared their thoughts.
One social media user said: "Why does Sarah not know who Damon is & what WAS that in his glass, a giant chilli?!"
Another said: "So they're trying to say Sarah doesn't know what Damon looks like. Puhlease."
A third added: "Damon has terrorised Sarah’s brother, sister in law and nephew, he lives in the same street but somehow she has no idea who he is???"
While a fourth confused fan stated: "One moment! This very man Sarah has been slapping her husband in the face for is now loitering in the 'posh hotel'....she's heard about Damon and has spent more time in the Bistro/Rovers/corner shop/loitering in the street...and has never clocked eyes on him."
Sarah and Damon almost took things a step too far when they decided to go to a hotel room that Adam had prepared for Sarah. But once she discovered a sweet note that Adam had left for her in the room, Sarah quickly backtracked and told Damon that whatever they were planning to do wasn't a good idea.
Damon appeared to be fine with Sarah's refusal and they both agreed to end things there and then. With Adam later showing up at the hotel, Sarah finally appeared to connect the dots and quickly realised who Damon was.
But later on, near the end of the show, Sarah realised that Damon had slipped her his number on a piece of paper. Meeting up with him secretly in alleyway, she reminded him that nothing was going to happen between them.
But avid viewers were not convinced and shared their thoughts on Twitter once again.
One spectator wrote: "All you had to do Sarah was tear the paper up with Damon's number on and throw it in the bin. Simple."
While another chimed: "I get the impression that Sarah really fancies Damon. It's fairly obvious!"
