Coronation Street viewers have been left confused over a blunder in the editing of scenes showing the Daisy Midgeley stalking storyline.
Viewers watched last night (Wednesday 8 March) as Daisy's storyline with stalker Justin took a turn for the worse as she found herself locked inside with him.
Rovers Return barmaid Daisy has been seen getting more and more anxious, and it could be about to get much worse for her - with some hints suggesting Justin could go to drastic measures to get closer to Daisy.
However, it was last night's episode that ITV viewers were left discussing after a continuity error left them confused.
In one scene Daisy, played by actress Charlotte Jordan, tried to keep her stalker away by bolting her front door when she heard a knock and could see Justin waiting to see her.
In another scene after, Justin appeared in the living room after it turned out Daisy had left the back door unlocked.
"I was worried about you so I tried the back door," Justin said as an emotional Daisy jumped up.
A lovestruck and obsessed Justin pleaded with Daisy as he told her he wants to marry her, and it seemed like things were going to get difficult before Daniel Osbourne arrived to save the day.
Whilst fans were glad to see Daniel standing up to Justin and making him leave, questions were left unanswered over how Daniel got in if the front door was bolted shut.
One viewer tweeted: "Hold on… how did Daniel get in the front of the door was latched??"
Another shared: "Daniel used his skills as a magical Houdini tribute act to get into the front door, which was bolted."
"How did Daniel get through the front door with his key when Daisy put the chain on front door", a third soap fan questioned.
One social media user asked: "Daniel did well to get through the door after Daisy put the chain on."
Despite the odd production edit, viewers were left wondering what lengths Justin will go to next to get closer to Amy.
One viewer worried: "Daisy really must make the police listen. Justin has no intention of taking no for an answer. He will go one step further. Chilling"
