Coronation Street has revealed that it is bringing back a legendary character 25 years after they were last seen on-screen. Geoffrey David Nugent - aka Spider well be treading the cobbles once more this summer.
It has been more than two decauses since the character, played by Martin Hancock, made his debut in the ITV soap and now Spider Nugent is set to make his return to the Salford-based soap.
Martin will resume the role he played as Emily Bishop's eco-warrior nephew between 1997 and 2003 next month, appearing on our screens in July, Corrie has revealed.
