In her new role as the Doctor's companion in Doctor Who it is no surprise that Millie Gibson has been spending time in Wales, Cardiff in particular. Millie was announced as the new Doctor Who companion Ruby Sunday, to new Doctor Ncuti Gatwa, in November 2022 and much of the filming of the hit Sci-Fi series takes place in Wales and Cardiff.
The former Coronation Street actor has been posting pictures of the Welsh capital to her Instagram story. The places she has visited include bar Rum and Fizz, Wally's delicatessen, The Bottle Shop and King's Road Yard in Pontcanna which she has described as "the cutest market".
This is not the first time that Millie has shown her fans her visits to Cardiff. In December 2022 she called herself a "Cardiff resident" when she posted a picture of a bunch of flowers in her new Welsh abode with a card that had two heart emojis followed by a plus and diamond sign.
