A pop-up canine cafe that appeared on BBC's Dragons' Den is coming to Cardiff in April. Corgi Cafe is being taken out of London for the first time and the one-day event will be at Revolucion de Cuba in April.
The news comes a week after the couple behind Pop+Bark - the company running Corgi Cafe - appeared on the first episode of the brand new series of BBC's Dragons' Den. James and Anushka had asked the dragons for £35,000 for a return of 5% equity in their company, which sees them run dog-themed café events across the country.
But while dragon Steven Bartlett made them an offer, they ended up leaving the den empty-handed after requesting that the 30-year-old Dragon dropped the percentage he wanted of the business. You can read the full story here.

Pop+Bark host canine socialising events for dogs specialising in breed-specific cafes. Corgi Cafe has been one of their most successful events to date, as discussed in the Den, and now the pair are bringing it to its first locations outside London, including Cardiff.
The event features an 80-minute 'off lead' social experience for both dogs and their humans, free pupuccinos, a 'chill zone', goodies from a doggy bakery, brunch, lunch and cocktails for humans and a market place with dog accessories. The event is also open to corgi fans who don't have a dog of their own.
Anushka said: "Dragons’ Den was an amazing experience and we feel honoured to have been chosen to pitch our business to the investors. We certainly had fun convincing them how much fun our events are and although we didn’t get investment, they loved the concept and I’m sure we’ll be seeing all of them and their dogs at an event soon."
