Cora Staunton did not hold back in her assessment of the Mayo forward play as Kevin McStay's side were well beaten by Dublin on Sunday.
Trailing by a point at half-time, Mayo scored just three points in the second half as Dublin coasted to victory, booking their semi-final.
And Staunton gave a damning assessment of the Mayo forward play.
While on the Sunday Game, she said: "I think two points from play and one from a free in 35 minutes and 10 minutes before half time they didn't score at all. They nearly went 50 minutes without scoring three points.
"Kevin McStay will be hugely disappointed in that and it will be something they'll have to look at. Twelve points to score against Dublin isn't enough and it's an area unfortunately that has been Mayo's Achilles heel for a long time. It was the same aul Dublin."
Dublin will face Monaghan in the All-Ireland semi-final while Kerry take on Derry.
