A man has been arrested and charged after Scots cops seized around £180,000 worth of cannabis.
Police stopped a car on the A90 near Inchture, Perth and Kinross, in the early hours of Saturday morning, March 12.
Inside the motor officers say they found cannabis with an estimated value of £180,000.
A 52-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in connection with the haul.
He is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Ficsal.
Detective Inspector Robin Sim urged anyone who suspects there is drug-related activity going on in their area to get in touch in their bid to 'disrupt supply' in the North East.
D.I Sim said: “This is a significant recovery and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to seriously disrupt drug supply in the North East.
"But we can't tackle this criminal behaviour alone.
"The public continue to play a vital role in assisting investigations into drug crime and I would encourage anyone who has any concerns about drug-related activity, or has any information about those involved in drugs, to contact police on 101 or make an anonymous report to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
