Cops searching for father and teen daughter facing murder and incest charges after baby found on roadside

California authorities are searching for a 14-year-old girl and her father, Sergio Galvez Perez, after a newborn baby was found dead on a rural roadside in Monterey County.
Officials confirmed the 14-year-old gave birth to the baby, who showed signs of traumatic injury, and identified 38-year-old Perez as both the teen's father and the newborn's biological father.
The teencalifornia-monterey-sergio-perez-baby faces a murder charge, while Perez is charged with multiple sex crimes including incest, unlawful sexual intercourse, child endangerment, and child concealment.
The teenager's mother, Ofelia Garcia Ortega, was arrested on a child endangerment charge and subsequently released on bail.
Automated license plate readers helped detectives identify suspects within 53 hours, and police are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Perez and his daughter to contact authorities.
