Cops probing 'incident' on train from Edinburgh to Glasgow release images of man

Police have released images of a man wanted in connection with an ‘incident’ onboard an Edinburgh to Glasgow train.

Officers are keen to speak with the unidentified male, who they believe may have information that can assist with their ongoing investigation.

British Transport Police say he was travelling on the 6.45pm service from Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street on Tuesday, July 19.

The incident is said to have occurred at around 7.10pm when the train was approaching Falkirk High Street station, however cops haven't revealed the exact nature of it.

Officers believe the man may be able to help their enquiries (BTP)

A spokesperson for BTP said: “I would urge the male, or anyone who has information relating to the male depicted in the images, to make contact with us quoting reference number 2200071612.

“Contact us by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40. Calls can also be made to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
