Police investigating reports of a hate crime at a beach in Ayrshire have released CCTV images of a woman they want to speak to.

Investigators say a 42-year-old man was verbally abused and spat on at Irvine Beach Park at around 2pm on Saturday, June 10.

They are keen to speak to a woman captured on CCTV around the time of the alleged incident.
