An "obsessive and infatuated" police officer pretended he was about to have his arm amputated to excuse his behaviour towards his ex before donning a disguise and murdering him, a jury has heard.

Beau Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to planning and carrying out the murder of his ex-partner Jesse Baird in February 2024.
