Police have launched a probe after a motor crashed into a lamppost in Dundee.
Officers were alerted to the incident at Lochee Road, near the junction with Polepark Road, in the city at around 5:25pm on Friday, July 7.
Emergency services remain at the scene and police have locked down the road. It remains unclear whether there are any injuries at this stage.
Footage from Rebreak News from the scene shows debris on the road, with a lamppost lying on the ground.
The blue motor sits stationery on the road, with damage to the front end.
A Police Scotland spokeperson said: "We were called around 5.25pm, Friday July 7, following a report of a crash involving one vehicle hitting a lamp post.
"Emergency services are on the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
