A missing woman has been traced safe and well, following a search in East Lothian by police focusing on the Musselburgh area.
Police said Kirsty Smith had last been seen on the afternoon of Sunday, January 8. The 30-year-old had not been in contact with her family and concerns were growing for her welfare.
However, police posted an update around 6pm on Thursday, saying Kirsty had been traced safe and well after an appeal to find her.
Officers also thanked the public for their help in tracing Kirsty, in particular anyone who had shared Police Scotland's online appeals for information.
