A police decision to covertly follow an Audi weaving and speeding at night less than 30 seconds before a deadly, fiery crash is under scrutiny.

Jebriel Dandan, 24, and Seifeddine Malas, 25, died as their car crashed on the M4 Motorway in the Sydney suburb of Homebush West just after 12.30am on January 24, 2023.
