Police were reportedly called to Katie Price 's house over a domestic row with ex-boyfriend Carl Woods hours before they announced their split.
Car salesman Carl shared the news of their split on social media on Tuesday morning, and accused his former glamour model ex of cheating on him. In the video, he claimed the reason their two-year relationship has come to an end is because Katie had been unfaithful.
Before their split was announced, the couple were reportedly involved in a heated argument which resulted in the police being called to her home at around 9pm on Monday night. A source told The Sun that Katie, 44, "feared for the safety of her and her children", but no arrests were made.
The insider added: "Carl was furious after discovering texts from another man on Katie's phone. He's demanded Katie return her engagement ring but she's having none of it, and hasn't even apologised.
"Things have been rocky between them for a long time, and Katie's family don't want him in her life. He's been increasingly jealous ever since it was revealed she had been texting ex-boyfriend Kris Boyson from daughter Princess's phone in March."
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "We responded to a report of a domestic incident. Officers attended to conduct a welfare check. Enquiries are ongoing and there is no further information at this stage."
Announcing their split on Tuesday morning, Carl said he was "embarrassed" to reveal the news that Katie had slept with another man behind his back. He claimed: "So, there's no easy way for me to say this and to be honest with you, it's quite embarrassing.
"But me and Kate are not together anymore. I found out yesterday that Katie cheated on me. She's admitted that she cheated on me. She slept with somebody else.
"So yeah, that's the end of that. I guess I'm just gonna focus on rebuilding myself and get my life back on track. And concentrating on me but that's done."
The mother of five hasn't yet responded to Carl's cheating claims on social media, but has shared snaps alongside her beloved son Harvey, 20. She wrote: "Morning cuddles with my @officialmrharveyprice". The star has also been sharing links to her OnlyFans page on her Instagram stories, as she ignores Carl's claims.
Katie and Carl's relationship had been full of ups and downs during their two years together, as they were constantly plagued with split rumours despite putting on a united front. Just last week it was claimed that they jetted home from a holiday in Thailand early due to arguing over one of their exes.
Sources claimed that the mum-of-five and Carl were holidaying in Thailand but soon began arguing after Katie commented on a post shared by her ex Kris Boyson's new fiancée.
They also claimed that Katie 'doesn't seem to care' about the fact Carl may be unhappy with what she does on social media, and allege that the OnlyFans star may have even purposely interacted with her ex's new partner in order to wind her man up.
