Cops box in banned BMW driver on Salford motorway who then fails drug test

Police staged a dramatic ‘boxing’ of a BMW on a Salford motorway this afternoon to stop a driver who evaded cops in Cheshire last week. It was then found the driver then failed a drugs test.

Greater Manchester Police’s traffic unit tweeted at 3:25pm that its officers had now arrested the driver and seized the BMW. They also said that the driver was disqualified until 2023.
