An initial review into the recent coordinated attack targeting Hezbollah pagers has revealed disturbing details about how the attack was carried out. According to Lebanese Health Minister Firass Abiad, the devices rang before exploding, causing significant harm to individuals who picked them up.
Minister Abiad made these statements following a visit to the main hospitals where victims of the attack are being treated. He noted that many of the injuries sustained by the victims occurred when they checked their pagers after they rang.
