Cooper Kupp writes heartfelt goodbye to Titans WR Robert Woods

New Tennessee Titans wide receiver Robert Woods was a significant contributor during his time with the Los Angeles Rams. He, along with Cooper Kupp, was part of the sweeping change in the organization as Sean McVay took over head coaching duties.

The Rams signed Woods to a five-year contract in March 2017 and drafted Kupp in the third round of the NFL draft the following month. Together, the duo accumulated over 10,000 yards receiving and 63 touchdowns while taking the Rams to new heights.

The two were obviously very close, sharing a special moment together on the field after the Rams won the NFC Championship Game. Woods did not participate, tearing his ACL in practice in mid-November.

“We’re not here without Bobby Trees,” Kupp said in a tweet, “No words to explain his value to me. Only the people in our building truly know his impact.”

The Titans acquired Woods last weekend for a 2023 sixth-round pick. Kupp left a heartfelt message for his former teammate on Twitter.

“There aren’t any words that will do Robert Woods the justice he deserves for what he has meant to me over these last five years,” Kupp wrote.
