Among the most coveted college recruits in years, Maine’s Cooper Flagg recently committed to the Duke Blue Devils over the UConn Huskies and Kansas Jayhawks. It could be that star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum had a role in that decision after the two met not that long ago, but Tatum is not the only famous face or place Flagg has planted himself of late.
In a recent interview with the eponymous host of the “Dan Patrick Show,” Flagg opened up about meeting the St. Louis native and even playing against him, meeting Los Angeles Lakers star Lebron James, and what it was like to visit the New York City streetball mecca that is Rucker Park.
When asked about playing against professional players, Flagg mentions that he hasn’t played against any in high school yet, but he had the opportunity to play against five or six pros at the Tatum camp and two or three at (Stephen) Curry Camp.
