In physics, the three-body problem is a complex phenomenon where the behavior of three interacting bodies is difficult to predict. However, in the realm of media, the term has taken on a new meaning with the release of Netflix's sci-fi series '3 Body Problem' in 2024.
Upon its debut, the show sparked a polarizing reaction, particularly among individuals with differing political ideologies. Some viewers, such as venture capitalists and conservative figures, interpreted the opening scene as a critique of far-left agendas and cancel culture prevalent in society. They drew parallels between the depicted scenes and real-world instances of ideological conflicts and censorship.
