People from across the community are being given the opportunity to have their say on an Irvine housing project.
North Ayrshire Council is planning to develop 189 new homes at Montgomerie Park.
A host of documents have been prepared to allow local people and interested parties to view the revised draft plans for the development while there is feedback from the initial draft plans consultation event.
Ground consolidation enabling works are expected to get underway in the autumn.
It is currently anticipated that newbuild construction works will start next summer and be complete in spring 2027.
The exact timescales will be confirmed to local residents when they are invited to ‘meet the builder’ for a briefing.
There are 55 visitor parking spaces included across the site and each property also has driveway parking.
The homes will be allocated through the North Ayrshire housing register in line with the North Ayrshire housing allocation policy. Priority is given to applicants with the greatest housing need.
Meanwhile, the council is hosting a drop-in consultation event on Tuesday, June 13, from 4pm until 6pm in Lanfine Community Centre, Lanfine Terrace, Girdle Toll.
To book your place at the event or for any additional information or assistance, call 01294 324031.
