New Delhi: On the occasoin of Constitution Day on 26 November, a function will be organised in the Central Hall of Parliament House.
President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will address the event.
According to Lok Sabha secretariat press release, the function will begin at 11 in the morning.
Every year 26 November is observed as Constitution Day or ‘Samvidhan Diwas’ which commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the Constitution was adopted and it came into effect on 26 January 1950.
