Conspiracy Theorist YouTuber Spends Thousands to Prove the Earth Is Flat, Finds Out It's Not: 'Sometimes You Are Wrong in Life'

Jeran Campanella, host of the YouTube show "Jeranism," spent $35,000 on a trip to Antarctica to prove the earth is flat just to learn it is not.

"Sometimes you are wrong in life, and I thought there was no 24-hour sun. In fact, I was pretty sure of it. And it's a fact–the sun does circle you in the south. So, what does that mean? You guys are going to have to find that out for yourself."

Campanella traveled to Antarctica on a mission he dubbed 'The Final Experiment' and witnessed how the sun doesn't set during the summer firsthand, debunking the idea of an "ice wall" in Antarctica where the sun rises and sets daily that many flat-earthers subscribe to.

"After we go to Antarctica, no one has to waste any more time debating the shape of the Earth," he said, ahead of the trip.

"I created The Final Experiment to end this debate, once and for all," he continued.

He thanked the organizer of his expensive trip, still refusing to say that the Earth is spherical.

Campanella, who describes himself as an "open-minded True Earth" proponent, also co-founded the GlobeBusters YouTube channel which has amassed over 73,000 subscribers. His merchandise website, Jeranism.com, sells anti-NASA merchandise as well as crypto consultations from Campanella, who is also a crypto enthusiast. Fans can also purchase a private Zoom dinner party with Campanella via the website.

In a clip from a video posted to YouTube after his trip to Antarctica, Campanella reluctantly admits that the sun does not set in Antarctica to his audience.

"I realise that I'll be called a shill for just saying that and you know what, if you're a shill for being honest so be it," he said.

"I honestly believed there was no 24-hour sun – I honestly now believe there is," he continued.
