Conor McGregor has been urged to delete his latest social media post after suggesting UFC fans will "moan" in a bizarre caption.
UFC superstar McGregor is currently preparing for his UFC comeback after announcing he will take on Michael Chandler this year as part of the latest series of The Ultimate Fighter. The Irishman has been out of action for almost two years since breaking his leg, and he has documented his journey to recovery alongside his activities outside the cage including partying in Ibiza.
Throughout his rehabilitation, McGregor has been posting a series of photos which have prompted mass reaction from fans including while drinking during his downtime. In his latest bizarre post, McGregor has received shocked backlash after posting a picture topless with the caption: "I smell so good you moan a little if I hug you."
Fans were quick to call for the photo to be taken down, with one writing: "There’s still time to delete this champ." Another agreed: "Someone tell Dee to take Conor’s phone away." One fan then joked: "Do NOT let Chandler engage the Clinch bro." Another then added about McGregor's opponent: "Chandler in shambles reading that caption."
Another fan was stunned: "Millions of people can see your caption bro." One fan went on a lengthy rant instead on McGregor's body, writing: Ruining your body Conor, I hate to see it. Be a man, f*** the money and do you and knock dudes out, that’s the Conor I know. Not this panzy money, comfortable unmotivated one. I see it in your eyes and soul, stop letting money control you and ruin your inner legacy of the McGregor family name do you want to go down as a UFC star that did pretty well?"
Other fans were more focused on his comeback fight, with one writing: "So are you going back in the USADA pool so they can make this fight or what?" A final fan gave him a new nickname, concluding: "Undisputed champion of hugging the homies goodnight."

McGregor has recently been in Las Vegas after taking part in filming for the coaching stint of The Ultimate Fighter, which has now concluded. He will now prioritise working out the final details for his comeback fight with a date and venue yet to be confirmed.
It was initially expected the pair would target a date in the summer, but it was revealed that McGregor still remains outside of the USADA drug testing pool. He planned to enrol and suggested a meeting was booked to arrange his return, but USADA released a fresh statement confirming he will still have to wait six months while in the pool before making his comeback in the cage.
