Conor McGregor boasted that he had 'Tour de France calves' and the grip of a 'velociraptor' in a bizarre string of late-night social media posts.
The Notorious took to Twitter to show himself doing what appears to be a calf raise exercise as he poses at home. In a string of strange posts, McGregor first compared himself to a dinosaur and then a Tour de France Cyclist.
Captioning the tweets, McGregor mentions his infamous leg-break in 2021. According to the Dubliner, he became fascinated with these exercises shortly after the injury. Having built up the strength in his injured leg, McGregor claimed that he now had the same toe grip as the creatures in Jurassic Park.

"My standing foot and toe grip on the earth while up on the ball of my foot, is now that of a velociraptor," wrote McGregor on Twitter.
McGregor followed up this post by sharing a snap of his self-proclaimed toe grip. This time, he also patted himself on the back for his impressive calves.
"Le Tour de France calves. Control, balance, stability, power."
"I can run full throttle like this."
When asked by a fan why McGregor was focussing so much on his calves, McGregor gave the following reply:
"Footanklecalf strength/control is the base for everything. Most ignore. The break forced me to go here and go alone.
"Days after the break I’m tryna grip things with my toes. Now I’ve developed insane grip to the earth in high ball of foot stance.
"I’m wonder boy on juice. Nastier."
McGregor hasn't fought since the leg-break in 2021. He recently returned to Dublin to ramp up training ahead of a 2023 return.
