Conor McGregor too sick with 'flu' to attend court as lawyers challenge dangerous driving case against him

Lawyers for UFC star Conor McGregor are set to contest the dangerous driving case against him.

The Dubliner, 34, was not present at the fifth hearing of the case at Blanchardstown District Court this morning as he was suffering from the flu.

His defence barrister David Staunton explained to Judge David McHugh that McGregor attended his GP this morning and had a letter confirming that.
