Conor McGregor has threatened to kill Tom Aspinall over comments the English UFC star made about the Dubliner.
The Notorious is set to return to the octagon later this year for the first time since the summer of 2021, but Aspinall says he is not that interested in McGregor's comeback.
The Salford heavyweight stated: "Honestly, I’m not that interested in it. I’ll still watch it but I’m kind of of over McGregor. For me, there’s way more exciting fights out there than that.

"The heavyweight fight coming up that I’m super invested in, the London card, Leon Edwards, I could sit here and name them all day.
"There’s another 20 fights I’m more interested in. Will I watch it? Yeah, but if it gets cancelled, I won’t be upset about it."
Those comments led to a furious response from McGregor, who called Aspinall a "mush head rat" before threatening to kill the 29-year-old.
In a since deleted tweet, McGregor wrote: "Bum p****. Say sayonara to that gk deal kid. Starve you and kill you I will you f***ing disrespectful p****. Don’t ever speak my name in disrespect again. Mush potato head."
Former two-weight champion McGregor is currently in Las Vegas to coach on the new series of the UFC's The Ultimate Fighter against Michael Chandler, who he is set to face in the octagon later this year.
McGregor will be hoping to get his career back on track against Chandler after losing twice to Poirier in 2021, with his last victory coming against Donald Cerrone in January 2020.
