Conor McGregor spent $1,200 (€1,112) buying action figures of himself for his three children while meeting a young fan in Las Vegas during filming for The Ultimate Fighter.
The UFC legend was recording an episode of the reality show when he invited a social media user who had showed off their custom action figures of him on Instagram, and was impressed with their creativity. Samuel Romero uses WWE and UFC figure pieces to create unique versions of his favourite stars, which delighted McGregor.
He was particularly keen on a figure that showed him wearing a fancy suit and holding money, both of which he has been known to do throughout his career. And when it came time to pick a few to take home for his children, McGregor offered a whopping wad of cash for the figurines.

"He puts all these different parts of all these different wrestlers and all and he made me and made a few other guys," McGregor explained to the cameras after the meeting. "It can turn at the wrist, it can turn at the elbow and my son Junior loves that he can make all different positions with the guy."
Indeed, it was the potential of his six-year-old Conor Jr enjoying the toys that made him interested, with McGregor telling Romero in the footage "Junior is going to love these, the kids are going to love these". He then can be seen taking three figures, and offering $1,000 (€927) for the set.
Romero is flabbergasted by the offer, but it all becomes a reality when McGregor whips out a wad of $100 bills, before declaring that he would give the youngster "12 ton", seemingly meaning 12 of the notes. He then can be seen thanking him for coming out and welcoming him to the UFC's Apex facility,
"Conor making his return to the UFC on this season of The Ultimate Fighter has been a huge deal to millions of fans," promotional president Dana White explained. "One fan Conor came across on social media apparently makes his own action figures and he made a few of Conor. So Conor wanted to meet him and it's awesome. It's always cool to give huge fans this type of opportunity."
McGregor is coaching against Michael Chandler on the newest season of The Ultimate Fighter, with the pair set to fight at the end of the year. Their bout has yet been given a date, venue or even a weight class, but it is expected they will compete at welterweight on December 16 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.
