Conor McGregor has slammed the Irish government after Ireland was named the most expensive country in the EU according to a new report.
The latest Eurostat report states that Ireland has the highest prices levels for household final consumption expenditure in the EU.
And Conor McGregor was not happy with the news, placing the blame on the government.
Taking to social media, he said: "Quite ridiculous. Shame on 'our' government'.
The data compiled by Eurostat shows that prices here were 46 per cent higher than the average across the bloc in 2022.
The cheapest countries in Europe are Romania, Bulgaria and Poland.
McGregor is currently stateside with his family as he gears up for his UFC return against Michael Chandler later this year.
There has been no formal announcement about when McGregor will return to the octagon at some point in 2023.
The Dubliner has not fought since the summer of 2021 when he lost to Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas.
