Conor McGregor says "weed's great" as he enjoys trip to Amsterdam

Conor McGregor appears to be enjoying the cannabis on offer as he enjoys a few days away in Amsterdam.

In another tweet-and-delete spree, the UFC star took aim at rivals Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier while praising the quality of weed in the Dutch capital.

McGregor had been tweeting Poirier when Diaz jumped in and said: ""You both get knocked out all the time."

Replying to the Stockton native, the former two-weight champion wrote: "You too but just for the weed, we build a weed company. F*** the p*** sauce I gave that tick at the press conference. Not even a thanks. He is going in a box, and me and you are going in a hot box for the knock haha. I’m in Amsterdam like Sadam rocking round Iran haha. Van Dam chop his head quick. Must."

He later added: "Public translate: I’m fighting you too. But I will bury him quick first. Way handier fight/her knickers/More recent story line etc. If he bottles it, it’s you. I’m also in Amsterdam, weed's great, and I’m not a bad guy I’m just a great martial arts actor with boat loads of money."

McGregor has long been linked with a trilogy fight with Diaz after beating the American in August 2016, five months after suffering defeat against him.

McGregor's coach John Kavanagh said last year: “I’ll be honest, the Nate Diaz trilogy is very, very tempting. It’s a fight that gives me nightmares.

“The man doesn’t stop coming forward. Whether it’s three rounds or five rounds. But it’s an intriguing fight. So, that one is definitely very interesting.”
