Conor McGregor has tried to make peace with Michael Bisping just days after he threatened to "go to war" with the UFC legend.
In his latest 'tweet-and-delete' spree, McGregor mocked Bisping's acting career whilst boasting about his Hollywood debut having recently completed filming for the remake of Road House . Bisping then replied to McGregor, goading him as he warned the Irishman to have his bodyguards with him the next time they cross paths.
'Notorious' took offence to Bisping's reply and told the Brit to keep his name out of his mouth, even threatening to "walk through his front door" whilst escalating the feud by namedropping the area where Bisping lives in California. Having labelled Bisping as a "little clown", McGregor has now attempted to make amends with his rival by insisting he was "simply acting" in his original tweets.

"Hey Mike, it's Conor here. Just getting on about that video, I saw you didn't understand I was simply acting. I thought you would have known, brother. All my love my man, God bless the show, God bless the fam and God bless my man," McGregor said in the voice note whilst tagging Bisping and fellow UFC great Chael Sonnen.
McGregor has posted several bizarre tweets in recent weeks, also confusing fans with a voice note in which he repeated the phrase "the most power Twitter's ever seen" 10 times in several different accents. The Irishman's feud with Bisping dates back to 2017 as it was believed that McGregor was in line to take a role in Vin Diesel's 2017 movie xXx, but Bisping ended up getting the gig.
Bisping, who is yet to respond to McGregor's peace offer, admitted he was taken back by the UFC star's recent attack and didn't understand where it came from. "I was just befuddled. I'm like, 'Where's this coming from? What's that all about?' God bless him, I'm actually on set in Bulgaria and we stopped for a little break and I looked at my phone and someone had shown me that on DM," he said on his podcast Believe You Me.
"I wasn't annoyed or anything, just scratching my head going, 'Where's that coming from out of the blue?' Look, God bless him, he's doing his first acting thing, it's a big deal and he's all pumped about it. He's all excited, he's had his first beer and he's doing a big show with Jake Gyllenhaal, god bless him. Good for f***ing you. Well done. Why have you got to throw s*** my way? I don't get it."
