Conor McGregor mocks himself after face off with bare-knuckle boxer

Conor McGregor has posted a meme making fun of his face-off with Mike Perry after his bare-knuckle boxing fight

UFC star McGregor 34, was in attendance at BKFC 41 on Saturday night to watch Perry stop Luke Rockhold in two rounds. Rockhold retired after having his teeth cracked by Perry, who remained unbeaten in bare-knuckle boxing with the win. McGregor then got in the ring whilst rocking a BKFC world title over his shoulder to face-off with Perry after his stoppage victory.

Posting a series of pictures from the past weekend, McGregor posted a popular meme of Scottish comedian Brian "Limmy" Limond with a caption that read: "McGregor waking up and remembering he did a face-off with Mike Perry". The picture drew a reaction from Perry who commented: "That wake up slide lol, I can already feel that left hand hitting me forehead like a big bag of gold coins."

Former two-weight UFC champion McGregor had somewhat of a respectable face-off with Perry and welcomed a fight against him in the future. Perry struggled to ever reach the world title contention during his UFC stint but has now found a new home in BKFC. 'Notorious' doubled down on a potential bare-knuckle boxing move in a lengthy Instagram post whilst also revealing his plans to compete at 185lb in the future.

"Call me 'slicey' bare paw. Styles make fights. As well as rulesets. As well as everything. If you are scared go to church. I was called into the bare knuckle ring last night. I fear nothing. No man that breathes air. I only fear God and abide by God and if God guides me to a professional bare knuckle fight in my time for my new world title, I do," he wrote.

"Great night last night. It’s real interesting out there for sure. Congrats to the fighters. Two of my old foes competed in a barn buster and a guy who Cowboy [Cerrone] submitted in a round is now the man in this sport beating a former middleweight world champion. Incredible. Think about that for a second. Understand that as fans what fighting is.

"Take note of it. What fighting is, is a new day every day. Every fight with every person on every given day. Is different. It’s why I love it so much. It’s why I respect it so much. Fighting is different. End of. This fight took place in the 185lb division. I’ve not fought at that weight before but I can get there nicely as a refrigerator freezer. For sure. Who knows but God and I trust God."
