Conor McGregor joked that he wanted a "sparring partner" for his son just moments after his baby daughter's gender reveal.
UFC legend McGregor, 34, welcomed his first child into the world with fiancee Dee Devlin in 2017 and the couple have since had two more children. Conor Jr was born just months before McGregor's illustrious 'money fight' against Floyd Mayweather Jr, with Dee giving birth to their daughter Croia in January 2019.
McGregor and Devlin had a gender reveal for Croia in July 2018 and footage of the heartwarming moment can be seen in McGregor's new documentary on Netflix. The former two-weight world champion struggles to work out how the gender reveal balloon works before Devlin pops it to reveal she is giving birth to a girl.
Moments after the gender reveal, McGregor joked that he wanted a boy to serve as a sparring partner for their eldest son Conor Jr. "I wanted a sparring partner but f*** it. Oh my god man, I can't believe it a daughter," McGregor said before telling their son: "Oh stop that, a sister buddy, a sister!"
McGregor got his sparring partner wish in May 2021 as Devlin gave birth to their second son and third child, Rian, who celebrated his second birthday this week. 'Notorious' is currently gearing up for his UFC return against Michael Chandler after coaching against his rival on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter, which airs at the end of this month.

The director of McGregor's new documentary, Gotham Chopra, has compared McGregor to sporting legends Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady ahead of his fighting return against Chandler. He told BroBible: "He's a mad scientist. You know, he's obsessive. Personality-wise, he's quite similar to Kobe, like there's a defiance and a combativeness to him of course.
"He couldn't be opposite of Tom Brady or Steph Curry I would say as the most gentle guy. Despite all of the fame and the fortune and all the people that are always around him, that's not what it's about. For him, it's about can I be better and that is pretty similar. He always like looks back, 'I could've done this different and so therefore I'm going to try it again.'"
