He's even shared a behind-the-scenes snap from filming which saw him taking instructions from a crew member.

Although no major details have been revealed concerning his role in the film, it is reported it will not be a cameo appearance and that his character will have a significant amount of screen time.

However, while McGregor is clearly enjoying dipping his toe into the Hollywood lifestyle he has maintained that he will be returning to the fight game once this project wraps.

Having not gotten back to full MMA sparring due to a setback in his recovery from his broken leg, it will likely be well into 2023 before fans see him grace the octagon again.
