Conor McGregor teased a return date whilst inviting his UFC peers to campaign for a fight with him.
McGregor has spent 10 months on the sidelines having broken his tibia against Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight last July. It's been a long road to recovery for the Irishman, but it seems he is finally ready to book his comeback fight.
The former two-weight champion wants to add a third belt to his collection and has called out welterweight king Kamaru Usman for a fight, but the pound-for-pound No.1 is already pencilled in to defend his belt against Leon Edwards.
Challenging his fellow fighters to "step up", McGregor wrote on Twitter : "If you want a knock off me step up and say your piece. I'm still picking who." He then claimed to know who he is fighting next, stating: "Just kidding, I well know who. When. What weight. Where. How it goes. Everything. I see dead people."

McGregor teased fight fans by writing that the "Mac Daddy is back in action" whilst hinting at his return bout and date. "My next fight is... My return date is...," he added.
The series of tweets didn't end there, as he also wrote: "Tick tock, my left hand is glock" and "I am going to crush your skull in when I get you. Cave."
It appears unlikely that McGregor will fight before August after upcoming UFC cards were leaked which unveiled the schedule until the end of July.
McGregor returned to sparring for the first time last month since his injury. He was limited to weight training for several months to allow his injured leg to heal, during which he bulked up to 190lbs. McGregor has previously cited the weight cut as a reason he doesn't want to fight at 155lbs in his return.
"I'm looking forward to getting back into the octagon - we'll see what happens," he told Mirror Fighting in April. "The leg's getting better every day, I think 170 is where I'm aiming for, I feel good at this weight."
McGregor has fought three times at welterweight in the UFC. He moved up to the weight class on short notice for a fight with late replacement Nate Diaz in 2016, suffering his first UFC loss. McGregor avenged the defeat several months later, but a trilogy with Diaz is yet to take place.
His last win in the octagon also took place at 170lbs, knocking out UFC veteran Donald Cerrone in just 40-seconds after over a year away from the cage.
