Conor McGregor holds son Rían during his first St Patrick's Day while declaring 'The world is yours'

Conor McGregor has shared a bunch of cute photos holding his youngest child Rían while they gazed at the St Patrick's Day parade.

Rían was only born in May so Conor felt it was a big occasion as he paid tribute to his youngest with a glowing caption.

He wrote: "My 2nd born son Rían’s 1st St.Patrick’s day. And what a day it was!

"Keep your head held high and your posture correct my child, The World Is Yours."

Rían, whose name is the Irish equivalent of Ryan and also translates to 'king', was of course dressed in a green outfit complete with jungle animals.

His dad is famously a big fan of the animal kingdom having gotten a huge gorilla tattoo on his chest years ago.

The whole McGregor family only jetted back home to Dublin in the days leading up to March 17th.

They had been in an undisclosed location on their latest exotic holiday judging from sun-kissed photos Conor had shared he was noticeably more tanned.

And prior to that, he had enjoyed some time away in The Bahamas so being back home for Paddy's Day must have given them a sense of familiarity again.

McGregor had alluded to this idea in a video he put out showcasing the celebrations he, friends and punters enjoyed over the entire Patrick's weekend.

In it, he alluded to how this was the first normal edition of the national holiday since 2019.

He said: "It's going to be a wild one this evening for sure!"

"Paddy's Day always has that energy no matter what though.

"It just feels like the good ole days you know that kind of way?

"Paddy's Day is back! It feels like we're all back so for sure it's a great day."

The 33-year-old had alerted followers to his return home on Wednesday March 16 when he shared workout pics from his old haunt of Crumlin Boxing Club.

The accompanying caption read: "St Paddy’s eve work at Crumlin boxing club. The school of excellence!"

Given how St Patrick's Day has been such a muted occasion each of the last two years, it's no surprise the former UFC double champ wanted to be there for the first edition of the holiday that allowed for an all-out party.

There's also the motivation to be there since his frequent presence at his pub The Black Forge was bound to maximise the pub's appeal to tourists in town for the week.
