Conor McGregor has called himself the Irish Godfather ahead of his big-screen debut.
The two-time UFC champion will make his acting debut in the upcoming remake of the 1989 cult classic Road House.
McGregor, 34, will star alongside Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal in the movie, and he has been doing pre-production for the film in the Dominican Republic.

Posting a photo himself wearing a three-piece suit and sunglasses starring in the film, McGregor said: "What I want when I want. Or you’re dead. #theirishgodfather".
McGregor has ended up spending longer on the Caribbean Island than planned as his flight home to Dublin was cancelled due to Hurricane Fiona.
But he is seemingly making the most of his extended stay, as he also posted a picture of himself holding a wad of cash and giving a shoutout to Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA.
A big name in Latin music scene, Anuel AA titled one of his songs "McGregor" after the Crumlin man.
"The aul cash what hahaha. Make a mother****er dance," McGregor captioned the post.
"Straight in from New York, through Vin Diesel's back garden, over the side gate and right in to me next door hahaha thank you my brother Anuel. The real G of Latin trap, and me. Rich nut.
"Stream Anuel 'legends never die' and the song 'McGregor' and listen to a real classic! Puerto Puerto Rico cubano tastano mi ano I do what I want with doh, the song is on Spotify, lethal song blast it."
