It appears that Conor McGregor has tried to defuse his Twitter spat with Tyson Fury.
The UFC star and world heavyweight boxing champion became involved in a row on social media after McGregor said Fury "bottled it" for not stepping in when Billy Joe Saunders' dad was shoved by security at the Canelo Alvarez fight last May.
The tweet came after Fury praised McGregor's rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, telling the Russian that he “did it right” because he “got in and won and got out at the top.”
"Yup the Joyces. Big Joe! U bottled it with Billy joe Da, what were you doing there ? U Left him, Versace t*** U. Done. Nothing, McGregor wrote to Fury on Twitter.
"Ya’s did it right ye right hahahahaaj. Even when I’m wrong i’m right. Who did it right ? The Mac daddy tonight, in house. Miami d12! Bahamas."
Fury later responded by referring to McGregor's assault on a customer in a Dublin pub for which he was later fined.
"Come back when u win a fight mush," he said. "And the difference in me and you is i don’t get myself in trouble and people actually like me, you're just a bully who hit old man."
Fury followed that up with another tweet referring to McGregor tapping out against Nurmagomadev and Nate Diaz.
"[Conor McGregor] has done more Tapping than MJ's old dance shoes," he wrote.
But McGregor now appears to have brought an end to his war of words with Fury after sharing an old video of the heavyweight champion praising the Dubliner.
In the video, Fury said: "Conor McGregor is MMA, isn't he? That's it. I couldn't name you three more fighters in MMA, I just couldn't."
Upon seeing the video, McGregor tweeted: "It’s all good, we forget it. Fair play Tyson. God bless ya mate."
