Conor Bradley hoping for a big summer after being offered Liverpool chance

Conor Bradley is relishing the opportunity to be able to stake a claim for a place in Liverpool's first team squad following the completion of his season-long loan at Bolton.

Last week Reds boss Jurgen Klopp talked up Bradley's chances of pushing for a place in his squad after an impressive spell with Ian Evatt's side in League One.

"We are in constant contact," Klopp said. "For sure he's a contender [to feature next season]. The plan at the moment is to bring him back and keep him but we will see."

Bradley has had a real breakthrough season scoring seven goals and assisting six times in all competitions and was pleased to hear Klopp had been keeping an eye on him.

He told the Bolton News : “The fact he has been keeping an eye on me the whole year is really nice to hear.

"With Liverpool, we will take that into the summer. And, then, wait and see what happens from there."

The 19-year-old made it a clean sweep at Bolton's Player of the Year awards after picking up the Player of the Season, Players' Player of the Season and Young Player of the Year.

He helped Bolton beat Plymouth Argyle at Wembley to win the Papa John's Trophy and secure a place in the League One play-offs as the Northern Ireland international tries to end his loan spell on a high.

“This has been a great year for me and the loan has given me everything I wanted," he said.

"I have grown up, learned how to play men’s football, so to win awards at the end of it all is really nice.

“I have loved my time here at Bolton and I want it to finish on a high in the play-offs.”
