Conor Benn has promised to take revenge on Kell Brook after the damage he did to Amir Khan during the pair's fight on Saturday night which was won by Brook.
Brook forced a stoppage in the sixth round of the fight which was held at the AO Arena in Manchester and it looks to have been the final act of Khan's career with retirement now a distinct possibility.
Eyes now turn to who Brook may fight next and last night Conor Benn threw his name into the conversation, posting to Instagram to say that he would 'take care of business for Khan' while pictured with a bloodied and bruised Khan.
He tagged Brook in the post and will compete with Chris Eubank Jr for a fight with Brook, with Eubank Jr saying on the Sky Sports coverage that he has unfinished business with the the Special One.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Benn said: "After Josh Kelly messed up, who is there now for me? Who can I really test myself against? Who claims to be the best in Britain?
"He is still sharp, he has still got his timing, he has still got accuracy. That makes the fight more realistic."
Connor is the son of Nigel Benn, who had a well publicised rivalry with Chris Eubank Sr in the 90s and now their sons developing a rivalry with a fight against Brook now looking like a lucrative prize to fight for.
Eubank Jr was at the AO Arena last night and told Sky Sports that he has has issues with Brook, citing the Sheffield fighter as the reason he never fought against Gennady Golivkin.
He said: “He’s (Brook) proven tonight that he still has the spice - now I wanna see how spicy he can get with me because I’m not Amir Khan.
“We have history, he’s the reason I didn’t fight Gennady Golovkin and I’ve never forgiven him for that.”
