Rangers defender Connor Goldson has been the target of racist abuse following the Europa League aggregate win over Red Star Belgrade.
Goldson was a key member of the backline at the Marakana as Gio van Bronckhorst's side sealed a spot in the quarter-final stage.
The 29-year-old was involved in a post-match row with the Red Star players as the home side reacted angrily to the post-match celebrations.
But he has now been targeted on social media by vile trolls.
At the start of the season the defender posted a pic from the Marakana stadium with the caption: "New season, new goals! Its work time!"
However, an account under the name @nemac_7 has now commented in Serbian slurs including the phrases "black s****" and "monkey."
It's not the first time Ibrox stars have received unacceptable abuse by online racists following a Europa League clash.
Both Kemar Roofe and Glen Kamara were targeted following last season's Europa League clash with Slavia Prague.
