Connor Chapman is due to make a second appearance in court today charged with the murder of Elle Edwards.
The popular beautician, 26, died after being shot in the head shortly before midnight on Christmas Eve, as she stood near the front entrance of the Lighthouse Inn Pub in Wallasey Village.
Merseyside Police have said they do not believe the New Brighton woman was the intended target of the gunman. Elle was hit alongside four other men - Keiran Salkeld, Jake Duffy, Harry Loughran, Nicholas Speed and Liam Carr - although each man is expected to recover.

Chapman, of Houghton Road in Woodchurch, was charged with Elle's murder last week. The 22-year-old was brought before Wirral Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Sporting long, wavy brown hair and wearing a grey, prison issue tracksuit while flanked by two security officers in the dock, he spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and said he was of no fixed address during a brief, three-minute hearing. Magistrates remanded him into custody ahead of a further appearance before Liverpool Crown Court today.
Chapman was not asked to enter a plea to the murder charge or two of attempted murder relating to Mr Salkeld and Mr Duffy. He was also not asked to enter pleas to charges of wounding with intent against Mr Loughran, Mr Speed and Mr Carr.
The defendant is also charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life, namely a Skorpion submachine gun and 9mm short 0.380 auto/acp calibre ammo. A further charge of handling stolen goods states he was in possession of a stolen 19-plate Mercedes A-Class between December 22 and Boxing Day last year.
